 that is the $700 question. Like u I have less than 1 month left on updates. I have not updated since before system 1.29 version came out. Nothing good enough to justify it.  Watching what has been out there for new updates in the last month has been disappointing. Autel says a bunch of new updates will be out in oct. It may come too late for me. In reality the last 3 months or so has not had many useful or major updates so I am not sure what the next year will hold. The tool functions well now  and I could probably live with what I have now. I do not see autel restoring lost functions or adding things that will make the tool better. ie removing module tree function. I could be wrong. For me I will push it to the limit and might go a couple of months over my subscription before I decide to pay $700 for another year of updates. Watch and see.

  im in the same boat as you mine runs out late October i will wait for some feedback from others before i buy or i might just buy a new maxisys as i can get a good deal on a trade in for a new one which works out less than the upgrade...

 i have many tools,, i wont use maxisys to program unless i have no alternative so i mainly use it as a scanner not my intention when i bought it.
